to compare the fuel efficiency between a Suzuki Swift 1.2 SZ2 (2014) and Toyota Prius C (2014) is 5.81/100km and 5.31/100km. This shows that Toyota Prius C is more fuel efficient than Suzuki Swift 1.2 SZ2 (2014) for a city drive. Fuel efficiency is a measurement of fuel economy, based on how far you can travel with a certain amount of petrol (gasoline). A lower fuel economy means the car will be cheaper to run.
Overall I still think that Toyota Prius C is the best fuel saving comes with cheap maintenance as compared with others listed.
=Side by side comparison between Suzuki Swift & Toyota Prius C=
>Suzuki Swift<
The official combined cycle figure on the sticker is listed at 4.8L/100km. The dash display indicated I was getting 6.5L/100km and to be fair to the Swift, it had almost no highway running during my time with it, so it's not too far off the 5.8L/100km urban figure. With its small 37-litre fuel tank that means a real-world range of around 500km and probably another 100km if you're cruising the motorways.
>Toyota Prius C<
If that last section didn't impress, this one surely will. The little Prius C will sip a claimed 3.9L/100km on the combined cycle. That's very low, and the fact it accepts cheaper 97RON fuel makes it a very affordable car to run. Except that the onboard computers revealed a slightly less-impressive 5.1L/100km after my time with the car. Emissions are a claimed 90g/km of CO2, which is very good.
